A designated Virginia Historic Landmark and on the National Register of Historic Places, Richmond's Cathedral of the Sacred Heart is unique in that its construction was funded solely by donations of Thomas Fortune Ryan and his wife.  Construction began in 1903, was completed in 1905, and the Cathedral was consecrated on Thanksgiving Day in 1906.  

While visiting friends Lucy and Kelly in Richmond in mid-January 2018, we attended mass at the Cathedral.  Prior to mass, I was able to fire off a few photos with my Sony point-and-shoot camera.  The best of those images are presented herein.
