Evening Twilight: Half Dome
Taken from Olmsted Point. Colors in the sky are not clouds, but are smoke from fires in the park (mostly controlled burns) and, predominantly, from the wildfires north of San Francisco. You can see some of the local fires in the photo just to the left of the largest low branch of the tall tree. Before we headed up to the point, I told Andy I thought that sunset on this day was going to be a bust. Was I ever wrong!
