Intro.  I traveled  to Geneva in early December to present a proposal on behalf of the industry group I work for to UN's Sub-committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods.  The weather in Geneva in December is often less than ideal and this time was no exception.  Although we only had some light drizzle some of the days, it was always dreary and we didn't see the sun the entire time.  Regardless of the weather, I did have some opportunity for photography and captured some images as Geneva prepares for Christmas.  On the last day in Geneva, one of my colleagues and I walked around Geneva visiting Manor (a large department store), the Notre-Dame Basilica, and St. Peter's Cathedral.  Manor was really in the swing of things for Christmas with decorations throughout, including a big selection of toys.  The Notre-Dame Basilica is an active Catholic church (Patty and I have attended mass there in the past) and St. Peter's was originally Roman Catholic, but today belongs to the Swiss Reformed Church.
