In late June, 2012, Dave was in Geneva to attend the 41st Session of the UN Subcommittee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods. On Sunday (June 24), he went shooting with good friend and colleague Noel Hsu. They spent the day shooting in Carouge, an ancient city (a suburb of Geneva) in Switzerland. Although dating back to the Middle Ages, the current city was built from the ground up, by Victor Amadeus III of Sardinia, King of Sardinia and Duke of Savoy, starting on 31 January 1786. The time of day didn't really lend itself to shooting urban landscapes, so the photography concentrated on some of the details of the city, including flowers, fountains, and reflections. Photo info. All photos were shot by Dave using a Canon EOS 7D DSLR a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens mounted on a Really Right Stuff TVC-34L Versa Series 3 Tripod with a BH-40 LR Ballhead.
