In September 2017, Patty flew to Lisbon to tour Portugal, Spain and France visiting various religious sites related to the Virgin Mary.  She toured as part of a group of some 30 people, some from our church and others from other parts of the US that was led by our priest, Fr. Mel Bessellieu.  This was her first "solo" (i.e., without Dave) trip abroad and, despite very early mornings and late nights, she found the trip exciting, interesting, and fulfilling as she visited many places she never thought that she'd ever see in person.
